About Children's Early Intervention

Rochester’s Early Intervention serves children of all ages who have developmental delays, neurological disorders and autism. Our first step is comprehensive evaluation conducted by the physician of the child’s cognitive, motor, social and language development. The treatment plan will include the areas of intervention identified by the physician and therapists. We believe that the most effective treatment plan is a combination of approaches because of the nature of developmental delays and many behavior combinations can occur.

We provide a program that consists of one-on one educator to child in the following therapies:

  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Language Therapy

  • Children’s Rehabilation conditions:

  • Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Spina Bifida
  • Down syndrome
  • Autism
  • Broken bones or other orthopedic injuries
  • Speech and language disorders
  • Developmental delays
  • Congenital disorders (present since birth)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Our interventions build on the interests of the child, use extensive visuals (Arabic and English) to accompany instruction. We hope that every child who leaves the centre has individual growth and development that will allow the child to more independent and have educational opportunities.
